Nicole + Andrew // Wayland, Michigan

We recently photographed Andrew and Nicole’s wedding day at The Centennial Barn in Wayland. Their wedding day was with nothing short of perfect, perfect weather, a beautiful location, and truly the best couple. With every couple we meet there is a connection, something we relate and bond over, but Nicole and Andrew are in the thick life of parenting, just like us.

When I met with Nicole to talk about her day of schedule we talked a little about everything but she got into her personal story and about her and Andrew. She said something that I will never forget, she said “I wouldn’t change a thing about my story, being a mom and having my kids makes me a better person and a better wife for Andrew, and he is the best dad.” As a mom, and a child of a non-traditional family structure, i admire them and commend them for their amazing outlook and strength.

During their wedding ceremony Andrew gave vows to both of their children, and there were few dry eyes in the crowd. Then during their vows to each other it was the same, it is so evident that their love for each other is so strong that it strengthens their bond allowing them to be the best parents they can be.

Thank you guys for sharing your inspiring love and perfect day with us. We are so happy that you found each other and your family is complete. Our prayer for you guys is that throughout the chaos that is family life and parenting you can have glimpses of newlywed bliss and perfect parenting moments.
