Natalie + Mike // Michigan City, Indiana
Thinking back to this past weekend Natalie and mikes wedding had so many perfect moments I will never forget, but there are a few key things that will stick with me. These two are something electric, if you have seen Natalie and mike together they are something extraordinary. They each have two of the most contagious smiles, and outgoing personalities. They both walk into a room and a glow follows around them. Put two people like that together and it makes for one incredible wedding day.
Their wedding in Michigan City, Indiana was the perfect day. They were married by Mikes childhood priest who has known his family for decades, they were surrounded by family and friends, and their reception was a gorgeous outside venue space with delicious brick oven pizza. Their dance was absolutely perfect, and the weather couldn’t have been better.
Aside from how beautiful the day was and how incredibly perfect and gorgeous this couple is, the words that their priest left us with both during the service and before dinner is what I will carry with my as the perfect memory from their day. During his dinner prayer, we were under this beautiful pavilion lit by candlelight and patio lights, everyone was surrounded by joy, celebration, and loved ones in a gorgeous setting. Father started his prayer reminding us all that in Isaiah the lord tells us that in heaven there will be a large banquet celebration, he will wipe every tear from our eyes and he will swallow up death forever. Mike’s friend and priest reminded us that their perfect, romantic, beautiful celebration banquet was a gift from the Lord, a tiny glimpse of what he has prepared for us in eternity, now it is our responsibility to take that good news out into the world and fill up the seats at the table.
Natalie and Mike, thank you for sharing your day with us, for constantly making us laugh and being the best. It was the perfect day and I am so glad that we were the ones you chose to capture it. Thank you and congratulations friends.
