Madeline + Max // Onekama, Michigan
When I think about the perfect Michigan wedding, Portage Pointe in Onekama quickly comes to mind. With views of both Portage Lake and Lake Michigan both right there, the nostaglia of the property, and the vintage vibes, it is for sure a favorite of mine.
Last fall I met Max and Madeline for their engagement photos on the property and it was perfect fall color, gorgeous views and the perfect day. Two weeks ago Justin and I ventured back for their wedding day and it was the perfect summer day for their wedding. We loved every second of their day, these two are both genuine, kind, laid back, and so sweet.
Being a part of their wedding day was a honor and we would do it all over again if we could. I love their love story of how they went to the same family camp growing up, missing paths during that era but connected when they came back to northern Michigan later in life. I love that their family has such a heart for Northern Michigan just like we do and that they all made the trek for this big day. We ended max and Madelines beautiful wedding day with one of the most beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets imaginable, and it was a moment we will wall cherish.
