Emelee + Jim // Ludington, MI
One thing that a lot of our friends and family know about us is we are almost always the last people to leave any sort of social event. We are consistently the last people to leave church on Sunday, we can talk any dinner guests ears off until midnight, and we love spending quality time talking and getting to know people. I feel like this is a good trait in both of us but potentially fairly annoying for friends who have plans, or a bedtime for that matter. One thing I have learned about Emelee and Jim is that I am pretty sure they share the same exact trait with us.
When Justin did their engagement session last fall in Ludington I remember him calling me during a break of shooting or after and ranting about how much he likes Emelee and Jim and felt like we could easily hang out with them as friends. Fast forward a few hours later he told me he was going to have a beer with them at their beautiful historic home and see all of the work they had done to the house. Fast forward another 3 hours and he was still sitting around their dining room table at 12:30 in the morning when he had over an hour and a half drive home.
Emelee and Jim are two of the most welcoming, fun people you will ever meet. Their love for their friends is strong and even stronger for each other. They have a door that is always open and everyone is welcome. Their wedding was full of laughter and friendship. If their loyalty to their friends and family is a glimpse of how they will be in their marriage, these two will be unstoppable. Thank you friends for bringing us in, letting us capture your day, and making us feel like family.
