Cash + Stacy // Saugatuck, Michigan
This past weekend Justin captured Stacy and Cash’s wedding day in Holland, Michigan. During our pre planning phone conversations to go over their day of timeline I loved chatting with both Cash and Stacy about their wedding day. It was evident to me that they were both involved in the wedding planning process and were so excited for their big day. No offense to grooms who are hands off of the wedding planning (cough cough, Justin) but I love seeing a couple who is excited about planning their wedding day together.
After coming home Saturday night I asked Justin what was his most memorable moment from their wedding day and without skipping a beat he already knew his answer. He told me, I asked Cash whether or not he was nervous before the first look and Cash said to him, “I’m not nervous, i just can’t wait to see my bride to be.”
As simple as that, he just couldn’t wait to be with her. I can relate to that feeling like you just cannot wait another second to be with your person and to be getting married. Justin said to me, “he was like a kid in a candy store, he was so excited”.
I absolutely loved that. The first look was just the two of them and their pup. No guests, no venue, no major details, all of the crazy planning that goes into the wedding day does not matter for that single moment. The moment that they couldn’t wait for, just being together. Take those moments friends, on your wedding day, and every day, those moments to just be together. Stop and soak it in.
