Rachael + Shawn // Holland, Michigan

We kicked off our 2019 season celebrating Rachael and Shawn this past Saturday.  If I had to describe the perfect winter wedding I would describe Saturday to a T.  The sun was shining, Rachael’s dress couldn’t have been more perfect, and every single detail she planned was beautiful.  We were blown away with how perfectly their reception came together.  It was evident that Rachael had been dreaming and planning for this day for a long time.

Rachael and Shawn met while they were both serving in the Navy and have been dreaming of this day for forever.  These two are perfect for each other.  I had so much fun exploring with them when I ventured to Illinois recently to shoot their engagement photos.  From their vision for their engagement photos at a beautiful state park in Illinois, to their beautiful wedding day, it was so amazing capturing the vision they had.  If you are ever looking for an incredible place to visit…. Seriously that state park is gorgeous.
