Kristin + Matt // Ada, Michigan
As we near the end of our wedding season for 2017 we cannot be more grateful for all of these amazing weddings we have been able to capture. This past weekend we celebrated Matt and Kristin and that wedding will be one we never forget.
Kristin’s Parents own a cattle farm in Ada, Michigan, and she is the youngest of 3 sisters to be married on their beautiful 80 acres. The way that this family opens their home and business to others is touching. Haylee and I have always had a soft spot for the “backyard weddings” but this one left us speechless. Wait until you see the shots of her dad escorting her on his tractor to the ceremony… stunning.
As anyone in the state of Michigan knows, it down poured all day last Saturday, from sun up to sun down. Typically, that is not something that anyone necessarily wants to happen when you are planning an outdoor wedding. When we showed up the morning of Kristin’s wedding, you wouldn’t have suspected a drop of rain was in the forecast. She was glowing the entire day; there was not a doubt in her mind that her wedding day was going to be the best day ever, regardless of the weather.
We REGULARLY brag about how fantastic our clients are… because they are that great, but Kristin was phenomenal, she was willing to get out there, take pictures, and not let anything “rain on her parade”. She and Matt knew that at the end of the day the only thing that mattered was that they were surrounded by their friends and family, and starting the rest of their lives together.
It was such a fantastic experience getting to know both families during this wedding and experiencing their strong foundation of faith in their families and in their marriage. Thank you all for having us and making us feel like a part of the family. We truly loved our experience and will never forget it.
