Debra + Eric // East Tawas, Michigan

This past weekend we made the trek north to visit family and celebrate Debra and Eric. I would be lying if I said we weren’t semi dreading Saturday’s weather forecast, it was going to be hot and stormy with a heat index of 105. We were certain it was going to be to hot for the couple to be outside and the river queen boat was going to be to hot to fully enjoy.

We were wrong. The weather was nothing short of perfect. We had a perfectly cloudy sky that created beautiful lighting and tolerable temperatures. It down poured but only during the ceremony and set up. And the Ferry Boat ride was perfect with the most beautiful sunset.

But honestly, it wouldn’t have mattered if it was 105 degrees and it was storming and awful outside. If you saw Debra and Eric together you would know exactly what I mean. They made our day perfect because of how much they light up when they are together. The entire day went without a hiccup and was so much fun. They are two of the most laid back, fun loving people and we cannot be happier that they found each other.

It took all of 2 minutes of watching them together and seeing how Eric makes Debra laugh to know that their wedding day would be perfect and that they are the perfect match.

Also what is better than a wedding reception on a ferry boat and roof top sunset photos on the river? Nothing. Nothing is better than that. Congratulations you guys and thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day!
