Cheers to 150 Weddings

On Saturday, July 6 we celebrated one of our best friends on her wedding day.  Haylee was in the wedding and I had the honor of capturing it.  Melissa and Aarons wedding was extra special to us because she stood next to us on our wedding day and has been in our lives for over a decade.  We had dreamt of this day with her for years and when it was finally happening we were ecstatic.

About 10 days before the wedding Haylee came to a realization that we had a huge milestone in our business quickly approaching and after checking our facts and counting the numbers we soon discovered that Melissa and Aaron would be our 150th wedding we have shot which made celebrating their day even sweeter.

Now, we have been working on this collection of photos over the span of our business and I find myself absolutely floored, humbled, and overwhelmed with thankfulness.  We want to thank every single friend, family member, client, and vendor who has ever supported us over the past 8 years of our business.  Thank you to our parents who support us by watching our kids, encouraging us when times are hard, and always praying for us and.  Thank you to the countless friends who have recommended us, let us photograph their families, and supported us emotionally throughout the years.  Without our support system we could never have done this.  Thank you for the people who have prayed for our marriage and encouraged our marriage during good times and bad.  We are beyond grateful.

Thank you to our clients, I know it is cliche and we say it all of the time but we mean it when we say we have the worlds greatest clients.  As we look through past weddings we are brought to tears with how grateful and humbled we are to have the opportunity to capture some of the most beautiful, intimate, powerful moments between newlyweds, parents, parents and children, grandparents, friends, and family.  Watching our clients love each other and the people in their lives inspires us each and every day to be better, capture more, and love well.

Most importantly we have to thank God for constantly making a way for us in all aspects of our lives.  He has blessed us with opportunities we could have never imagined, and the perfect people to guide and support us along the way.  In moments when we were afraid of what was to come he challenged us, stretched us and provided for us.  And as we have walked one of the more difficult seasons of our marriage and lives he proves once again that his plan is always good.

So enjoy this lengthy collection of our work.  It is amazing to see how we have grown, changed, and learned so much. The collection of these photos are moments we loved from each day and some of our favorites.  Thank you to all of the beautiful people and marriages we have experienced over the years. Cheers to 150 weddings and cheers to the next 150.
