Happy Almost One Week Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Coe!  There were countless amazing things about last Saturday.  To say that the day was a complete display of God’s love and plan is an understatement.  Caleb reached out to me on July 31st of this year looking frantically for a wedding photographer.  After a series of unfortunate events they lost not 1 but 2 photographers during the process of planning their wedding day.  I was available and beyond happy to shoot it for them.  It has been refreshing being at weddings over the past few weeks.  They are not completely “normal” but seeing people together, smiling, celebrating, and loving each other is fuel for my soul. 

When I showed up to Courtney’s moms house last Saturday I was greeted with hugs and handshakes so grateful for me.  I am not a person that needs recognition or praise but of course it is great feeling love from people.  What is much more important to me than the appreciation, and praise is that I had at least 5 different people separately throughout the day come up to me and say. “Haylee, we have been praying for you for the last month, thank you so much for being here”.  I actually called Justin during some downtime and got choked up telling him about how covered in prayer we have been by this family.  During this time of complete uncertainty there was a family of people that we didn’t know at the time praying for us (and that we would be a great fit for Courtney and Caleb’s wedding).  

During the ceremony Caleb’s uncle, who was their officiant said that when they were preparing during their premarital counseling they both asked the question, “Will we be a better force for the Kingdom together?”, because first and foremost individually these two want to be a powerhouse for God and his kingdom.  I found that to be completely inspiring, and challenging personally.  Courtney and Caleb, you are absolutely amazing, sweet, and so adorable together.  I was so blessed to be a part of your wedding day and I am so thankful for you and your families.
