Jacqueline + Brad // Grand Rapids, Michigan

From the first time I met with Jacqueline and Brad I knew we were a match made in heaven. Haylee even remembers me coming home so excited ranting about how they were so awesome and would be so fun to work with. I was like a kid 30 min after leaving the candy store, the sugar kicked in and I was crossing my fingers that they would choose us to have the privilege of documenting their wedding day. Once I calmed down and checked my email only to find an email from Jacqueline & Brad saying “We didn’t even really need to think about it we could have hired you on the spot”… so needless to say I think the feelings were mutual.

More importantly after their meeting, engagement session, and obviously their wedding I was able to see up close and person how perfect they are for each other. We kept telling them on Saturday to “just keep doing what you are doing”… together they are adorable, always giggling, snuggled, and glowing when they are together.

One moment I will not forget from Saturday is when Jackie’s dad gave his speech before dinner. He talked about how marriage is just like a rollercoaster, there are ups and downs, unexpected turns, and lots of excitement, but at the end of the ride you want to do it over with the person sitting next to you. I remember looking over at Haylee and thinking wow is that true, you never know what life is going to throw at you, and there are good days and bad days, but it is pretty awesome when you find your best friend to share it all with.

Jackie and Brad, we appreciate you more than you know, thank you for letting us in, treating us like family, and making the day fun and full of laughs. Congratulations and keep those hands in the air for this rollercoaster ride, its going to be a good one. (cheesy but oh so good)
