Vauwn + Mark // Grand Haven, Michigan

The weekend before last Justin and I made our regular trek to the Westside to celebrate Mark and Vauwn on their big day. This wedding was at one of my all time favorite venues, Camp Blodgett in West Olive. The venue is right on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan wish endless gorgeous views every where you look. This venue is something special, peaceful incredible views, a gorgeous beach and sand dunes.

Vauwn and Mark couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The weather couldn’t have been better and everything went perfectly for their day. As we were driving south I was giving Justin the DL for the next day, going over the schedule and telling him about this sweet couple. I had the privilege of photographing them last fall for the engagement session and they are something special. There are always a few grooms each year that are very hands on with the wedding, helpful and involved, and this is Mark. In getting to know them both through this process it is easy to see he will go to the end of the earth for his Bride. He did absolutely everything in his power to ensure that their wedding day was absolutely perfect for his sweet wife.
