Evan and Michelle St. Aubin are life long friends of Haylee's, growing up in Tawas, Michigan they went to elementary, middle, high school, and college together. I have had the privilege of getting to know these two through my wife over the years and got closer to them as we photographed their wedding a few years ago. While we loved having them in the Grand Rapids area... we both knew that eventually they would end up making their way back to their hometown of Tawas.
We have always related for many reasons, but Haylee and I are dreamers, entrepreneurs, and creatives, and Ev and Michelle are the exact same way. They have the ability to look at something and see its full potential and then some. They are optimists, hard workers, faith-driven people that can envision an end goal or dream and make moves to get to where they want to be. We have all discussed for YEARS the dreams and ideas for new small businesses in Tawas and how we could pool ideas and vision to dream up something pretty cool.
A few weeks ago we got to walk through Evan and Michelle's "Dream Coming-True". They purchased the Freel Family Farm in Wilbur and are slowly renovating it into their dream home, and future business. While we won't give away the end plans, we will tell you they are pretty great and something to be very excited about. We cannot wait to photograph their first event coming up on Saturday, December 9th, they will be hosting another Tawas-Native Entreprenuer Duo, Every Little Detail Event Planning and their Annual Holiday Workshop.
