Ryan + Carly // Auburn Hills, Michigan

This past weekend we had the privilege of shooting Carly and Ryan's wedding in the Detroit Metro Area.  Their wedding was a perfect example of what working with a "dream team" of vendors is like.  They hired Brooke from Stellaluna Events and she made sure that the day went seamlessly.  In addition to her expert planning and coordinating, Noah's Event Center is a bunch of pros at what they do as well, we are still amazed by the fact that they were able to do the entire reception set up in less than an hour and a half!  It is so crucial to work with vendors who you can trust to get the job done and Carly and Ryan's day went without a hitch because of it! 

Forget the vender soapbox... lets talk about the bride and groom.  Ryan and Carly... wow to say that we are a little jealous of these two is an understatement.  These two are world travelers and will be taking our dream vacation to New Zealand for their honeymoon.  They met and fell in love in Prague which is pretty darn cool, and have traveled the globe together.  Ryan and Carly have a very special chemistry that is something you can look at and see 50 years in the future so easily. 

There is always one thing that sticks with us after a wedding and with Ryan and Carly it is so evident how much the people in their lives mean to them.  Her cousin and maid of honor mentioned in her speech that if Carly could have, she would have had a 1,500 person wedding because she has so many friends and people that care for her.  They are genuine, caring, friendly people who truly value the relationships and people in their lives.  When I spoke with Carly before the wedding I asked her what are the most important things you want captured on your big day.  Without hesitation she answered "Capture photos of our guests, that is what is important to Ryan and I because without all them we would not be here." 

Congratulations you guys!  We wish you decades of happiness and yes we still plan on trying to hitch a ride on your honeymoon ;).
