Lucy Turns One

I cannot believe that this sweet little girl is one already. It is such a treat to have been able to capture this growing family over the past few years.  Last summer I photographed Kerri and Jakes maternity photos out on Lake Michigan and Kerri was wearing this same beautiful pink dress.  Here we are a year later photographing Lucy to celebrate her first birthday.  

When doing photos of a 1 year old it is expected to be a little challenging, maybe hard to get them to smile or look at the camera... not this girl.  Lucy was the best little model during our shoot.  This girl radiates joy and I have to think that must come from her two awesome parents.  

It was such a good night working with this family and I cannot wait to watch this little girl grow.  Happy Early Birthday Lucy!
