Emmanuelle + Lincoln // Dearborn, Michigan

Last weekend we shot a wedding that we have been looking forward to for a long time. We ventured to Dearborn, Michigan to the beautiful Henry Ford Museum for Emmanuelle and Lincoln’s wedding day. Their wedding was breathtaking, every detail was perfect, and the two of them were flawless.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a beautiful classy wedding, but the thing I won’t forget about their day were the loved filled moments. Early in the morning when Emmanuelle was getting ready with her family and friends her dad came into the room. I introduced myself and said good morning, he then asked one of the girls, “where is my girl?” I was thinking… duhh.. shes right in front of you, assuming he was talking about his daughter and bride to be. But he was talking about his wife, Monique, Emmanuelle’s mom.

One of the bridesmaids leaned into me and says “they are literally the best couple, they are so cute, and he loves his wife so much”. What an example to their daughter and new son in law, a marriage that stands the test of time and still shows to a complete stranger how much they love each other.

Shortly after that, we got Emma in her dress and ready to see Lincoln. Unfortunately I had not met these two in person before, but it took me about 20 seconds to see that the examples of love and marriage, that both of their parents have displayed for them, have greatly impacted how they love each other.

The way that they look at each other is something that you can’t help but grin ear to ear when you see them. Hearing the stories their friends and parents had to tell about them, and their amazing testimony of love and faith that Lincolns dad was able to share during the ceremony he officiated, speaks to how much they love each other and the Lord.

Mr. and Mrs. Bell, thank you for letting us be a part of wedding, having us as a part of your family for the day, and giving us the opportunity to capture your beautiful story. We are sad it’s over ;). Congratulations!
