Gabi + Brian // Detroit, Michigan

Being a wedding photographer oftentimes can be exhausting, its long days, nights, weekends, and you are semi responsible for making sure that the biggest day of someone’s life goes without a hitch, and you have to capture every single special moment of that day.  Don’t get me wrong we love what we do, we love our clients, and we absolutely love being let in on one of the most intimate days of their lives, BUT at the end of a wedding day there is always a sigh of a relief and readiness to sit down and kick off our shoes from a 12-16 hour day of being on our feet. 

Saturday was different, I was sad to see Saturday end.  Brian and Gabi are truly two of the kindest people we have ever met and their wedding was one of the most incredible days ever, even through monsoon rain, a bus with no AC on one of the stickiest days of the summer, and a complete change in where we did pictures, the day was still perfect.   Haylee told Gabi that she made one of my greatest photography fantasies come true… and that is an understatement.  We were able to shoot the sweetest couple on a rooftop in downtown Detroit over looking the city.

Aside from the phenomenal photography moments, Gabi and Brian made Saturday as amazing as it was.  From the moment that we met them both we knew that we would get a long with them and I don’t think we are the only people that feel this way about them.   We have loved getting to know Brian and Gabi more over the last year and cannot wait to see more of them now that they are both GR Residents.  Thank you for letting us be a part of your big day, you guys deserved the perfect day and we think you got just that.
