Donald + Missy // Tawas City, Michigan

Last weekend I had the pleasure of capturing the sweetest couple, Missy and Donald. I had been looking forward to their wedding for a long time, the sweetest couple, most laid back agenda, backyard ceremony, and a new venue for the reception, it was my dream.

Regardless to say it was even better than I anticipated. They had their wedding at Missy’s grandmothers house on Tawas Lake and then ventured to the new Northwoods Event Center right here in Tawas City, Michgan. Of course I loved working close to home but more importantly, every second of their day was enjoyable because of the people it was celebrating. I have loved getting to know these two, they are kind, welcoming, fun to be around, and genuine. Missy was one of the first people I met when I moved back home, our sons were on the same t-ball team, and from day one she has always treated me like a friend and made me feel welcome. I had the privledge of also being a part of Missy’s brothers wedding last year and this entire family is something special.

These two are the perfect balance for each other, complimenting each others stregnths and personalities. I know that they are going to make for a powerful match in parenting and life and I am so thankful to have been a part of the beginning of their story. Donald and Missy, Thank you for including me in your big day, it was such an honor and the absolute perfect day and one heck of a fun party.
